Rhino Hero is a 5 minute dexterity game for 2-5 players where players are builders trying to help Rhino Hero scale a tall building so he can look for criminals. Each turn, players set 1-2 wall as depicted on the visual floor card, then place a roof card that becomes the next player’s blueprint. Finally, the Rhino Hero figurine is taken and placed a higher storey. Players can also use cards to make others skip turns or draw more cards. The game ends when a person makes the entire card building collapse, resulting in a sole loser.

Rhino Hero may be a kids game, but adults will have as much quick fun trying their best to make the card tower collapse by building their walls and roof in unstable fashion.

The drawing of more cards and skipping of players turn feels like player elimination in Rhino Hero, excluding players from getting more involved. Due to the instability of single walls, all fans and air conditioners and drafts must be curtailed before this game can be played, possibly making it a sweaty experience.

While Loopin’ Louie is another quick party game for young children that adults will also enjoy, Junk Art remains the best dexterity party game for 3-6 players, with stacking of oddly-shaped wooden pieces that will test kids and adults alike. Catacombs 3rd edition is a longer, campaign-style dungeon crawl with fantasy characters that both children and adults will also love. Other excellent games for ages 5-10 that can hold the interest of all ages are Habitats, Barenpark, Kingdomino, Santorini, Dixit, Magic Maze Kids, Magic Maze, Sushi Go Party, Ice Cool, King of Tokyo, Loony Quest, and Ghost Fightin’ Treasure Hunters.
