Description

Times Up Title Recall is a 60 minute party game for 4-18 players where players are given 10-20 cards of albums, art, literature, movies, plays, songs, television, and other pop culture references. Players choose 5-10 cards and 2 teams, proceeding to play Taboo, 1 word Taboo, and finally Charades. Each round is only finished when the teams of players manage to guess all the words on the cards, which teams taking 30 second turns.

Times Up Title Recall plays like a Match 2 memory game mixed in with Taboo and Charades.

The best of part of Times Up Title Recall, other than the godlike acting or descriptive powers of certain players, is when players have fantastic or rubbish memories when cards successfully played or missed in earlier rounds by either team come up again and you get the overwhelming sense of deja vu that you begin to think that you must know the answer but you don’t.

Times Up Title Recall can be harsh on players without wide pop-culture knowledge or the ability to breakdown each title into its component parts for their team to guess. The 30 second timer can also be difficult for players who aren’t used to performance under stress.

Times Up is the closest game to Time Up Title Recall with a simpler word list of everyday objects. Alternatively, a set of Taboo can be used for a easier game of Times Up Title Recall as well, as the there are hint words on each Taboo card. Other games that play well above 10 players include Dixit, Two Rooms and a Boom, One Night Ultimate Werewolf, and Deception Murder in Hong Kong.
